Calibration Overview
"A gorgeous and mechanically superior remaster of a PSP classic that can't quite hide its handheld repetitive roots."
How we calculate this ➔Calibration Shape
The Final Calibration
Reunion is far more than a simple remaster. The transition to Unreal Engine 4 and the modernized combat UI make it feel almost like a new game. However, our calibration must point out the dialogue—it's incredibly 'cheesy' and reflects its 2007 origins. The change to Zack's voice actor has also been a point of valid criticism for long-time fans. Most importantly, the structure of its 300 side-missions is extremely repetitive, clearly designed for 5-minute handheld bursts rather than a long console sitting.
